只有一片静悄悄！——
偶尔伴随着远处传来的
公鸡尖锐响亮的啼叫；
或是穿过重重灌木荆棘
母牛脖颈下
一串摇晃悠扬的叮铃叮铃；
或是从某株老树上坠下的
干瘪皱巴的苹果
在久被遗忘的果园里
与坑洼不平石头的
一声轻柔撞击！

哦，这灰扑扑的山丘，
聚集着一群悠闲的牛羊，
有的舔舐着紫色的花苞，
有的在啃食带刺的野草！
哦，这满地石砾的牧场，
高高的毛蕊花在那里
站得如此挺拔结实，
从一粒微小的种子！

Licks the purple blossom,

On its little seed!
