我是最快乐无忧的存在，

在这铺满阳光的小山！
我会抚遍千百朵花儿
但不折取一枝一瓣。

我会用安静轻盈的目光
久久凝视悬崖与云端，
看着风把草儿压弯，

草儿又重新挺起身板。

当小镇的灯光开始

从山脚连片点燃，

我会认出我的那一盏，

然后启程下山！

I will be the gladdest thing

Under the sun!

I will touch a hundred flowers

And not pick one.

I will look at cliffs and clouds

With quiet eyes,

Watch the wind bow down the grass,

And the grass rise.

And when lights begin to show

Up from the town,

I will mark which must be mine,

And then start down!
